American

  • Los Angeles: Missoula (moved up from early Oct to early Sep)

It extended the season on two from Chicago/ORD:

  • Kalispell (season extended from early Oct to early Nov), Wilmington (NC) (season extended from ending early Sep to early Nov)

AA will start the season early Oct instead of early Nov on New York/LGA – West Palm Beach and the seasonal suspension in fall will no longer happen from New York/LGA to Orlando, New Orleans, and Tampa

The summer suspension on Phoenix – Cleveland was extended through Sep

Delta

Delta will keep Salt Lake City – Seoul/ICN on its premium-heavy A350 through winter and switched three from the original A350 to the same premium-heavy aircraft from Los Angeles in winter:

  • Auckland, Shanghai, Sydney

Also for Delta:

  • extended the season on Detroit – Pensacola from ending early Sep to early Nov
  • cut 1x daily in Aug/Sep on Atlanta – Mexico City
  • reversed the add of a 2nd daily in winter on Seattle – London/Heathrow and is back to just 1x daily

United

United added 1x daily in winter:

  • Chicago/ORD: London/Heathrow
  • Denver: Orange County, Tampa
  • Newark: Charleston, Orlando, Toronto

Winter additions of more than 1x daily, all from Newark:

  • Atlanta (up to 2x daily), Denver (up to 13x weekly), Detroit (up to 10x weekly), Nashville (up to 3x daily), Pittsburgh (up to 2x daily), West Palm Beach (up to 2x daily)

United is adding new 12x weekly from Chicago/ORD to Lafayette 

It extended its fall suspension through Sep and Oct on three from Houston/IAH:

  • Palm Springs, Reno, Sarasota 

It is returning two from Denver to South Dakota at 1x daily, both for the first time since Jan 2022:

  • Pierre, Watertown

United moved up the season end from late Oct to late Sep from Newark to both Traverse City and Vancouver

It extended the season from ending early Jan to ending early Feb on Houston/IAH – Jackson Hole and extended the season from ending mid-Sep to late Oct on Chicago/ORD – Missoula

Southwest

Southwest made no significant changes

Alaska (including Hawaiian)

Alaska increased sun flying on three from 4x weekly to 1x daily from late Nov through the holidays:

  • Los Angeles: Belize City
  • Portland: Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta

Other adjustments from late Nov through the holidays:

  • Los Angeles: La Paz (3x to 6x weekly), Puerto Vallarta (2x daily to 16x weekly)
  • San Diego: Līhuʻe (1x weekly to 1x daily)

Other adjustments for AS:

  • added 1x daily post-summer from Orange County to both Portland and San Francisco
  • cut 1x daily in winter on Los Angeles – San Francisco
  • added 1x daily in winter (2x to 3x daily) from Portland to Eugene

Hawaiian cut 4x weekly (3x daily to 17x weekly) in fall on Honolulu – Portland (OR)

JetBlue

JetBlue returned two from Fort Lauderdale:

  • Guayaquil (returns 1x daily after being canceled in Jan)
  • Philadelphia (returns 2x daily for the first time since 2023)

B6 added summer frequencies:

  • Fort Lauderdale: Santo Domingo (add 1x daily)
  • New York/JFK: Port-of-Spain (add 4x weekly)

Allegiant

Allegiant made no changes

Frontier


Frontier slashed summer capacity 12-14% with just frequency reductions, it did not exit any markets 

Spirit

Spirit entered Savannah with four destinations:

  • Detroit (2x weekly), Fort Lauderdale (4x weekly), Nashville (3x weekly) Newark (1x daily)

Air Canada

Air Canada made more summer cuts with a focus on the U.S.:

Cut 1x weekly:

  • Toronto: Fort Myers

Cut 2x weekly:

  • Calgary: Fort McMurray
  • Montréal: Nashville
  • Toronto: Manchester (UK)
  • Vancouver: Kamloops

Cut 3x weekly (or more), all from Toronto:

  • Calgary, Charlotte (5x weekly), Nashville (4x weekly), San Francisco

Cut 1x daily, both from Toronto:

  • Indianapolis, Minneapolis/St Paul

AC cut 1x daily in May to mid-Jun from Vancouver to both Regina and Saskatoon

Also for AC:

  • added summer frequencies from Toronto to Grenada (1x weekly) and Cancún (2x weekly)
  • increased Toronto – Athens from 6x to 9x weekly in fall

WestJet (including Sunwing)

Neither WestJet or Sunwing made significant changes

Viva

Viva made no changes

Volaris

Volaris exited nine from Monterrey:

  • Chicago/ORD, Ciudad Obregón, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Houston/IAH. Los Angeles, Los Mochis, Miami, San Antonio

Y4 also reduced frequency on two from Monterrey:

  • Ciudad Juárez (2x to 1x daily)
  • Mexicali (4x to 3x weekly)

It boosted the following, all from Monterrey:

  • Cancún (10x weekly to 4x daily),
  • Guadalajara (4x to 5x daily)
  • Mérida (11x weekly to 2x daily)
  • Puerto Vallarta (1x to 2x daily)

1) Air France increased Paris/CDG – Cancún from 5x weekly to 1x daily in winter

2) Air Premia will return Seoul/ICN – Honolulu at 4x weekly for the first time since Mar 2024

3) Air Saint-Pierre will not fly Saint-Pierre to Halifax or St John’s in winter and reduced Saint-Pierre to Montréal from 2x to 1x weekly in winter

4) Avianca will fly Bogotá – Dallas/Fort Worth at 4x weekly through winter and downgauged 1x daily Bogotá – Miami from a B787-8 to A320 (now all narrowbody)

5) Avelo filed seven exits:

  • Concord: Albany, Detroit, Lakeland, Nashville, Washington/Dulles
  • Santa Rosa: Boise, Salt Lake City

6) Bahamasair filed its initial winter schedules

7) Cape Air set summer schedules in its New England network, which is all up YoY except for Boston – Hyannis which is down  

8) Discover suspended Frankfurt – Minneapolis/St Paul for winter

9) Finnair reduced two from Helsinki during peak summer:

  • Chicago/ORD: 1x daily to 6x weekly
  • Dallas/Fort Worth: 11x weekly to 1x daily

10) Grant Aviation:

Exited two:

  • Cold Bay: Port Moller
  • King Salmon: Dillingham

Added four:

  • Atmautluak: Nunapitchuk (5x weekly)
  • Hooper Bay: Scammon Bay (19x weekly)
  • King Salmon: Perryville (3x weekly in summer)

And it will return King Salmon – Port Heiden at 3x weekly for the first time since 2022

11) Icelandair reduced two from KEF:

  • Vancouver (5x to 4x weekly in darkest winter)
  • Washington/Dulles: (11x weekly to 1x daily in IATA winter)

12) Neos suspended Rome/FCO – Cancún for winter

13) North Star Air filed schedules in Cirium for the first time to include:

1x weekly:

3x weekly:

  • Deer Lake: Cat Lake, North Spirit Lake
